Thinking about Boxing Day Sales of the past, we all know someone who's left at 2am Box Day Morning to drive to Calgary to get in on a deal.

The Food
The 6 Coffees
The 5 hours of terrible winter driving each way
The missed day of relaxation
The stress of it all
To save $800 on a TV
But these sales are not like they used to be, now retailers spend the hours prior to opening raising price tags to give the appearance of better deals or buy volumes of lower quality "Boxing week items" that are not quite the same as their regular wares.
It's all a game, everyone is trying to win business this week and doing so with the appearance of deals.
